Join Aisling for an enjoyable evening of wine and modern calligraphy, from the comfort of your own home.

The experience offers a relaxed, welcoming environment which is suitable for complete beginners. Aisling opens the workshop by guiding you through learning basic calligraphy strokes, forming lower case and upper case letters, then moving on to forming full words and phrases.

At the end of the experience everyone will be able to write their name, a favourite quote and useful phrases for greeting cards or gifts. You will leave the workshop with the skills to complete your own handlettered greeting card or A5 calligraphy quote to frame and display at home or give as a gift.

The beauty of an online class means you can BYO! I personally pair my calligraphy with wine, but choice of tipple is up to you!

Classes are limited to 8 people per session to ensure each guest gets tuition. Classes are suitable for right and left handed guests – Aisling herself is a leftie so she can offer valuable tips and insights for aspiring left-handed calligraphers.

To fully enjoy your experience, you should have:

• Nib, nib holder, ink, and practice sheets which you can keep
• An A5 high gsm page for making your own calligraphy artwork at the end or the class
• A blank, white greeting card for making your own homemade calligraphy creation at the end of the class
• Personalized name tag which you can also use as a reference

Please note that a minimum of 3 guests is required to run the workshop.
